Just a wild guess, but probably because it looks unfinished with the complete lack of shading. It looks like a WIP, not a finished piece.

And I sent back the rest of your submissions for The Joint. I'm not sure why they were approved to begin with but I require you to improve your work and gain feedback and help from the rest of the community here. Place your work for the Joint in this thread as I am moving it to the proper category. Listen to your peers and gain some insight on making it ready for resubmission.

This is the one closest to being finished. You've done a lot of work on it already since you first submitted it. I would recommend working on the light sources -- because your lights are on the left, the right side of everything should be darker than the left. Since the light source is up in the air, the tops should be the lightest.

If you look at even the simplest rooms in the joint you will see this: at least 3 values giving the items a sense of volume.

The speakers and stereo need reshading. The light gray in the center or something similar should be used for the top of the them, the current top color would be the left/front side (light side), the current front color should be the dark side (right side).

Check out Pixelblink's tutorial on iso art. http://pixeljoint.com/pixels/tutorials.asp?id=2252 See the lighter outline that is used for the front edges. It's pretty standard for iso art.  Gives the shapes a sense of depth so that we can tell wether an edge is coming towards us or away.

The new shadow on the table is spreading up on to the top. Make the actual brown of the actual left side a darker brown, or make the left side (in between the outlines) a lighter one.  The blond hair stands out -- so it needs shading too.

Hmm... Shading probably... It looks quite *empty* because there is not enough shadow, and look like there has not bene put much work in it... (no offence, i think the first and third piece still look quite standard)...

Your shading needs contrast more than anything. You also NEED to cut down the color count. I don't mean to be rude, but you're using 79 colors, and that's insane for this style/size of pixel. You could do this exact same thing with less than half this many colors. It would probably be a good idea to aim for 32 or fewer colors. If you don't have an easy way to count colors, try http://www.google.com/search?hl=en&q=irfanview - Irfanview .
