Hello there...ok, crits:

- get rid of the black outlines
- smoothen the curve of the yellow circle
- add texture to the tree, look at some ref photos...pine tree, right? They've got needles im pretty sure..
- the tinsel looks way too solid and not very shiny. Try to find some reference pics for that too.

-i dont know how can that yellow thing more smooth than this. (i saw some tutorial)
- i cant find any "pixel-arted" pine trees, and tinsels neither.

Eyecraft isnt talking about the shading, which Im sure is what youre referring to, he's talking about the border.  It looks like youve used the Circle Tool in MS Paint and picked an odd radius for your circle, causing it to come out VERY jaggy.  If you decide to leave it that size, you will need to do some heavy AA to get it back in shape.  AA = anti-aliasing if you didnt know.  Check spriteart.com for a tut on that, or they may have one here, not sure.

Well the reference photos dont have to be pixel art at all...just photos of actual trees and tinsel so you can study what they look like.

I personally find black outlines harsh and ugly.

hmm..
ive updated this "ball"

i know, just the shading's changed
bit im not sure what do you mean.
ok, ill remove the balck outline, but i tought i use AA when it's background.

and with that ouline of the tree, i wanted to show that's a pine tree. but as Eyecraft mentioned ill look for some real pine trees, and get some idea.. i hope i can :)

Again, we're not talking about shading.  I did up a circle in MS Paint, it looks like you used 27x27.  Definitely too odd of a number for MS Paint to round out very smooth.  But if youre stuck on using that radius, might I again suggest some AA?  I AA'd your 27x27 circle to give you an idea of how to do it.  A circle similar to your ornament is on the left, my AA'd example is on the right.

hm. im still dont understand you. why sould i do this before i place it on the tree?
it is antialiased with white background, but i'd look not the same on the tree.
i hope you know what i mean.

but, truly im quite new at here, and at pixel art, so, you do this way?
you create AA before place to the right place?
did i misunderstand anything? :)

Yes you do, do AA. It won't look any different on the tree, try it yourself, just move the AA version and the normal version on the tree an you will see

i think, that one is on the tree is not so good :$

Borgi, we can't think for you. Obviously it looks bad if you do it that way, so don't! He only showed an example, not how you HAD to do it. Also, you could have smoothened that ball without AA... but it looks okay now i guess. A bit furry though.

Good luck with your piece.

*sigh*

The obvious solution is not to use a 27x27 circle.  A 28x28 circle is MUCH smoother.  You can even probably get away with not using AA if you use it.  But thats really all any of us can tell you.

here i go. what do you think about my tinsel?
and i think my tree is too "2d".

Just as you varied the green in your original to give it depth you can do the same in your detailed version. A lighter green where the light hits it, a darker for areas in the shadow.

Love the silver tinsel.

I suggest the tinsel is made to look as though it is hanging over the branches and around the tree, rather than pasted ontop. Perhaps some perspective diagrams would help, so you can keep it the same throughout. Good update, adding some depth should help tremendously, perhaps also clean it up a tad.

Wow.  Thats uhh... an amazing improvement there.  You went from green blob to near-photorealistic in 24 hours.  That is, hands down, the best pixelled pine tree Ive ever seen.  Nice!

I like how realistic you've made it, but I'd give it some highlights. It looks a bit flat. But otherwise, keep going!

Just want to say that this picture has come a long way. Look at the original and then your current version. Compare them. Nice job.

DON'T

Your picture has 572 colours because of that. I suggest you reduce them immediately and make sure you stick to a palette, or it'll get really out of hand.

The improvement is amazing. Though you should cover the branches of the tree more, as real christmas tree's branches are not that exposed.

Ooh, that looks amazing compared to your first version :)

Amazing improvement there, but as Pieface pointed out, I would think of a pine-tree with much more coverage, like a blanket of needles (and maybe a blanket of snow too). It lacks shape now, looks a bit too much like a blob of needles all over.

Your progress is great so far though, keep it up!
