Subject: Spam?

I used a yahoo e-mail adress for this forum.
Some years without any spam (with this adress) I got the first one - one day after my register in ths forum.

Is there any coherence?

It's more than likely just coincidence though I can't say since I'm not Sedge.
My hotmail accounts get bombarded with spam all the time... just gotta learn to deal with it I guess

It could just be spam spiders that search the forums for email link adresses, they're annoying.

I'm still officially on vacation, but I just wanted to address this one quick...

Pixeljoint would never give out any little bit of information to anyone for any reason without your consent -- that includes email address, website, name, location, or any other identifiable information you might use on pixeljoint.  This may just be a hobby website, but protecting people's privacy is always taken very seriously.

If this is your first spam Demon and greyscar are indeed correct... I would recommend hiding your email address in your profile (I think it defaults to that when signing up) so malicious people don't harvest your email address and place you on spam lists.

if the spam is coming through pixeljoint, then hiding your email is almost certainly the best course of action,

hope your having fun sedge!

If no one else noted them, it must be a fortuity.
No more offers like "All software - very low price" at my yahoo account.

My email account of my webpage is full os spam.
(easy to filter manually => "allthing_not_german" = "spam" )
