| why has every pixel art i try to post (in the gallery) that i havnt posed in the wip section say 'revision needed before approval'?!?! if just because of that i didnt post it in the wip, why should it be revised? someone tell me! |

If a piece needs revision it means that for some reason it can't be accepted into the gallery. If you could copy the revision messages you recieved we could give a more specific answer. I'm guessing your latest pieces were rejected because they just weren't good enough... so in that case posting them in the WIP section to improve would be a good idea. ------------- |

take a look at my avatar, that is one of the pieces that said 'revision needed before approval'. i spent 5 days on that with the help of another forum. |

The time you spent on it or the help you recieved elsewhere is sort of irrelevant. If it doesn't meet the criteria for submission in the gallery you'll have to revise it, it's that simple.
I probably would have accepted your avatar if it didn't have the text on it.
There's nothing wrong with making a WIP thread here and asking for help though, you can only improve by doing so.

In the case of that fadatar. The main element on those avvys was the use of dithering styles. Something you missed on so it did not conform to the project.
