Hi! I have just started to train pixel art. Althought I'm not new when it comes to spriting because I'm somekind game developer. Well, I want to train my skills and I think that pixeling probably increases my graphical skills (now I am stayed most of time in programming and not been so interested about spriting). Well, pixelart "rules" are pretty different than my normal techniques (I like blurry my sprites etc.) but one big problem is how to choice a palette. Usually I just pick one "good" color and draw. So palette thing is new to me. Is there any rules, tips, advices or other that kindstuff what can help choicing palette...? I have looked couple tutorials but can't find any palette related advices.
Thanks.

Check out http://www.pixel-arts.org/pixelation/index.php?topic=922.0 - this thread over at the Pixelation forums. Especially the first reply there is a great read if you want to learn about choosing palettes... but the whole thread is a great resource.
Hope that helped :)
