Hello Folx!

As Varock Shade said, the works I am submitting are being accused of having too many colours! According to Photoshop, one of them had a handful of 150! sparkling little tones!!!

Problem is, I barely use more than 30 different tones on a piece. I tried to save my drawing with the option CUSTOM COLORS on, but that gives me my whole 150 colors + 206 tones of black!

What Photoshop does is probably some evil dithering without my knowledge. Anyone knows an effective way of saving GIFs on Photoshop without having your palette multiplied??

Thanks!

Try "save for web," then you can optimize your palette.

Photoshop when choosing with the eyedropper can give odd results in pixel work. I only use photoshop and find it best to create a palette off to the side of my canvas as I work and eyedrop from there. "save for web" is a great way to double check for redundant colors as you save. I always do this for pixelart, if the color count is not what I know it to be, then you have stray pixels.

when using photoshop for pixel art, be sure the eyedropper at 1x1 sample.  make sure all AA is turned off, and you use the pencil, not brush.
