heres the reason i cant post my newest piece:
REASON: Please make sure backgrounds are transparent or serve a purpose -- don't just post a white background unless it fits. If you need help making a background transparent please refer to the http://www.pixeljoint.com/pixels/faqs.asp#faq1287 - FAQ . Be careful with PNG transparency!
This is not to say you cannot resubmit the piece in the future after revising it. We encourage you to participate in our http://pixeljoint.com/forum/ - forums which include a Work in Progress (WIP) category. This is a great opportunity to gain knowledge and feedback for your pixel pieces before submitting them for approval on the main site. If you feel this is a mistake please post a FRIENDLY message in the Resources/Support section of the forum and we'd be happy to discuss it with you. Responses to this issue within the gallery site will be ignored and guess what? that program listed in the faq, i cant download it! help me!

It's a good idea, though; I'll add a "pixel art references" link section with links to stuff like that sometime today.
