Hello! I'm searching for an artist for a simple 2d shoot'em up war-styled. It will be open source and will run on linux and windows.

Company Info: no company. this will be an open source project
Paid or not? not paid :)
email address: nicola.lugato@gmail.com
company website: no website
previous projects:
http://funkycars.sf.net
http://thesheepkiller.sf.net
http://www.lugato.net/msx/program.htm <- some more random stuff by me

The project: this game will be quite simple: each level will consist of a single screen map with top-down view, filled with enemies to kill. To move to the following level, you must kill all enemies. Each level will have a different map and/or extra enemies.
The style should be military/war, something like the old Cannon Fodder for an idea (but just for the style).

What i need:
- One sprite for the main character: it should be top down, with a running animation (3 frame will be ok), one direction (it will be rotated by the program). It should look like some kind of "rambo", with no weapon on the hands. Size should be 24x24 or 32x32.
- One or more sprites for enemies: each sprite with the same specs of the main character. Different variations of the same enemy is ok. These should look mostly like regular army man.

Extra stuff (that i could eventually hack up by myself):
- sprites for shoots/explosions/etc
- backgrounds

Let me know if anyone is interested :)
