Just working on a new sprite of mine. I'm not sure where to go with it at this point since I want to brush up on pretty much all aspects of pixeling. So I might end up animating it at some point.

Hi KrixKS,

As it is an alien it will be difficult to help you with it without
seeing it

Lets make an assumption: there is gravity on his planet
He will tip over and fall on his nose (if he had one)
Furthermore I think he will be having problems moving
around without limps.

If the head/body is a square I'm missing part of his mouth on
his left.

Looking forward to the alien come to live :)

Best regards from

M.E.

I really like the line art, just if he is square, the shading wouldn't look like that.  Looks good.

Overall this piece looks like an excellent simplistic and iconic production, such as what one might see as a logo on a T-shirt or the like. But as pixel art it could use some extra finishing touches: antialiasing to the background would add some smoothness if you're not intending to remove the white later, and with the low level of detail present here as well as the interesting character, an animation would do wonders. Best of luck in your continued work, and if you're keeping this piece simple and vibrant, keep the colors as saturated and bright as they are now.
