Ok Gas, here's an early wip :) Loving yours btw. And Kfuchoin's came along nicely as well, I'd go for a mixture of the old and new one, i.e. using a brighter outline for the bubble but basically sticking to the new palette. |

I was going to do this underwater mock-up animation of a watery blob that can morph into oil when necessary. But I just don' t have the bandwidth to finish it...

The reason challenge winners have been allowed to participate is because this weekly challenge thing is still new and all the kinks are still being ironed out. When a winner submits a challenge it can take a while to iron out the rules and details (see my siggy). Some other challenges jump or even the PJ staff will throw one in. In time this will become easier to coordinate and then we'll probably ban winners from their own challenges. For now its part of winning to get an edge but is by no means a guarantee, the best always wins ;)

Oooh you're right, the background's gunna be pretty tough.. we'll see how it goes. 13 Colours atm. Lightened it up a little :) Might be having trouble making it look more underwater, will probs fix that at the end with watery effects. I'm done for the night though. Btw loving the entries so far. Yeah i like the top one Excalibur. Your colour ramp for the coral isn't very smooth in terms of light to dark. You have 2 light colours, 2 very dull middle-shades and 2 very dark colours, try to get it a bit smoother. It could be that your screen needs configuring. Keep it up, i really like it!
