I started here.

Most people said it looked to much like a dog.
so i moved to this point.
which is where I am.

I'm also planing on animating it and am very curious as to what y'all have to say about it as is, and for advice on doing so.

Crits and comments in any shape and form are largely appreciated!

Yeah, I like your newer one better.  The pink-ish color of the lower body/legs is a little weird.  Some shading there would be good too, since the top has much more detail.

Hello Sansui,

Welcome to PJ.

Actually you are doing pretty well.
Dogs and wolves are looking pretty close
especially if you look at a german sheppards.

However when looking at pictures and movies
they tend to have thick fur around the head.
You could also try to make the lower leg a bit thinner.

When you move the body, please remember that
everything works together. In your edit you just
changed the legs. But the back moves with the
movement as well as the shoulders.

Oh and how much I want to see you animate it!
I am planning a 4-legged animal move myself (lion)
and I struggle with it immensely.
From what I have read and seen a four legged animal
is kind of two people walking behind eachother.

If you are new to animation I would first suggest
that you do a walk of a human (feet only if you want
to focus on animals).

Looking really forward of your updates because like
I said before you are already on a great start!

Best regards from

M.E.

You could also try to thinner the legs.
