Hello again, I'm Blake - the programmer for Project: Rhapsody. I've posted here a couple times before, but our project could use some more help in the art department.
The game is a console style RPG resembling games like Chrono Trigger and the Breath of Fire series. The actual game won't be quite nearly as long (pretty small for a RPG), but there is still a large amount of artwork required. The team consists of Adrian doing backdrops, Snake (from these forums) doing the spriting, Jonathan the musician, and myself. I've posted below screenshots of the game in its current state:

The entire game engine is complete, and now we're just looking to fill in the game with gameplay and artwork. Anyone interested in joining the project can contact me and try out the engine themselves. I can't offer any payment, as we're all college students and working on the game in our spare time. Of course, if the project is sold, we all will work out proper payment.
What we're looking for is someone who can either match the style of the sprites or backgrounds (which are obviously not pixel-art, done in photoshop) and can help animated existing sprites as well would be excellent. We will help you as much as we can getting you used to the style and caught up with our team. We're all very excited about the project, and we are quite different than most RPG game posts on this forum, as a few years of work has already gone into the game, and we have a sizable amount done.
Feel free to contact me if you're interested and would like to give the engine a try. More information can be found at http://www.projectrhapsody.com - http://www.projectrhapsody.com , and you can reach me via e-mail (bledwards (at) gmail.com) or through msn (isitmillertime25@hotmail.com) or just by contacting me through the forum. Thanks!
