Just thought I'd set myself a little task to make a spartan helmet, finished the shading before and am going to add the "hair" to it soon.

Just wanted some comments on it so far?

Yeah, I already looked at that, I googled spartan helmet and I looked at how it reflects etc...as far as I can perceive, that is correct without the "hair".

no not really.. I think it should be way more reflective..  and it could use some more contrast, and some less colors

Why would it be reflective if it's been in a war? It's not supposed to be new?  and it's 25 colours, is that too many?

Quite too many for this... you should limit it to 10-15 max. (you could do even less)

4 to 10 colors is nice.. 10 is veeery much for this.. 25 way too much..
and if has been used, than we want to see scratches, and places where its dented..
and even than it can still be shiny.. or it should be dusty..
