(NOTE: I'm not bashing that certain submission above, I actually like it... I'm sorta using it to prove a point) Is it really that bad? =(

REZ, please don't think of it as a bad thing. Perhaps it's a sign you should go to the WIP forum and ask for people's help in order to improve it? Just because it's better than one of the worst pieces in the gallery doesn't mean it's really worth being in there. If you just give it a try i can assure you they'll be accepted.
