I need artists that has the talent to create pixel-looking characters, terrains and objects. The images are to be for a browserbased "MMORPG" I'm developing in my sparetime, it's already been ranked in top 3 in previous versions but this time I'm willing to take it a step further. I'm a successfull programmer for a big company but in my sparetime I love to program my own games, problem is that I have no talents when it comes to creating art/images. I'm willing to pay for the work from my own pockets, no problems.

I'm guessing there's enough work to make up atleast 500£, allthough it's basicly small images.

If you are interested, you can add me on MSN since I'm basicly always online there, so we can get this done as soon as possible. We can discuss how much you want in salary. There's ofcourse the option to get credit for the work on the website and join "the team", all others (me), work for free so others may play for free.

I'm interested in taking the job, please view my pixeljoint gallery (as it serves kinda like my portfolio) to see if you find my art satisfactory.

Have you got any isometric ones? Or could you create a character/"monster"/animal right onto the screenshot for a preview?

here's a quick sketch-preview. A couple of dinos assaulting the red stronghold! :)

I could make something else if you want, I just couldn't think of anything else right now :)

Hehe, I like the castle, can you try and make a character and a terrain tile? Also, do you have MSN for better communication?

I would say there's 3 different types of graphics I need, characters/animals/monsters, buildings, terrains. So it would be good to know how well each artist can make the different pieces and let them work on whichever they are best on.

Glad you like it :)
I will try and make some sample terrain tiles and a character later this day- I'm off to college now, heh. My msn is mrmotinjo at hotmail dot com. The dino and the castle were made in a kind of hurry, I think I can make some improvements to the quality when I get back home :)

*edit*

I got home, made a knight-character (assuming the game is medieval-styled), and a rocky base terrain (with 8 tiles joining with grass). Also made some adjustments to the castle. And I have to go somewhere else now :/
Well, I had a busy day... luckily, my schedule tomorrow is quite a bit more relaxed, so I'll contact you on MSN then :)
Hope you like the character :)

*edit #2*

here's the improved version of the castle I just made.
