Just something I though I'd share with you all. It's not finished, I'm still debating whether I should put in musical notes, words, or some sort of icon that will 'ride' with the wave.

MSpaint to draw, unFreeze to put it together. Every last bit was done by hand. This was a real strain on the wrist and the eyes, but I'm pretty proud of it so far.

For all you naysayers out there just try and tell me how this was not done by hand. No seriously, I would like to know, you'll save me a lot of time and energy next time.

And yes I do see the random pixels that appear in the higher stratosphere of shades, but that is entirely out of my control. MSpaint tends to do that when saving GIFs, I was lucky to get this much out of it.

And yeah, I realize most of you aren't going to want to see this added to the gallery because it's one giant gradient. So once I'm done I won't, but you can't stop me from working on it.

even if those random pixels are not your fault, you still have to remove them.. So never save gif in paint anymore, and clean this up!

Palette ramp? I know what a palette is, I know what a ramp is, but I'm not quite sure what you get when you put the two together. Sorry, could you explain.

"Palette ramp" is like "computer monitor." You can omit the first word but adding it is more specific and usually less likely to be misinterpreted.

There are many types of graduating components to what you would simply call a gradient of two colors. No adding the term ramp is just nonsense. Color component values increase or decrease they do not "ramp". You can have an increasing Value gradient to or a decreasing value gradient. Anytime I capitalize the word "value" I'm referring to the Value component HSV color model.

Hue-the "color" of the model think Red orange....ect
Saturation-how dense the "pigment" is
Value-the amount of "light" present

in simple words: pick two diferent colors(like red and blue) and create the sucesive transformation between these. as the red slowly fades into a purple and then into blue. the resulting amount of color blocks creates a 'ramp'.

a nice palette ramp referer to the fact about not using a white or black as one of the componets(as it just turns into a fact of brigthness)
