Your spacing is too even at the beginning, try putting the second and third frames closer to the top. When a ball bounces it hangs at the top of the arc appearing to slow down. The spacing if you didn't know is how close the object is from frame to frame. The last recoil after the landing is also a bit too slow. For the point of the animation I see where you are going but what you have is cause and no real effect. Sure the dog wakes up but that's it? Maybe after you see the red eyes a giant scary dog mouth with huge fangs pops out and snatches the ball. Maybe 5 frames, you wouldn't need much, you could make it real quick. Also you set the mood of the image with your background, which takes up most of the image. It's a very happy palette, try making it a bit more menacing. If you are going to say make a puppy come out and I've missed the point feel free to say so. If you want me to make an edit about the spacing I can, just not sure if you want me to. I also think that the center of the roof is a bit too far left. Maybe push it a bit over to the right. I like what you have going here just not sure if you mean to add more. Please post updates!

I find that the happy palette suits this picture, it kind of misleads you at first--you could go further with that by giving the dog a cutesy name like Fluffy . A problem: when the eyes appear, the edge of the floor in the house is still visible, so the eyes aren't attached to anything.

One thing I seemed to have noticed: the doghouse projects a shadow, while the left side fence doesn't. Also the shadow of the doghouse itself is... incomplete. At the angle that the shadow is coming from only half the doghouse has a shadow.
