This is very lovely.. :) I'm gonna start working on it right away.. and I've got perfect ideas.. though .. I cannot decide yet upon which scene will I take to work on...

Can we work on more than one scene, or we're limited just to one of them? :)

I'm a bit confused on that. By 'attached' do you me show the palette in the entry or submit a second picture with the entry that only has the palette?

yes, please attach you palette to the entry because every day has different color counts and the Mods will go nuts verifying each entry.

Is it a 1 week challenge or a 2 weeks ? (I love being a noob)
Jal, do you want to destroy my eyes with your bright magenta letters ?
Ok, ok I stop off topic speaking...
The challenge is interesting because of the choice we have, each one corresponding of a number of colors

4 Morgan Cook: Nice work man, but there isn't word "drums", there is "drummers" in challenge submission..... However, it's very good idea....

I know... how about if i change it to twelve drums a' drumming? I want it to be drums not drummers :\

Well, here I have a work in progress Partrige in a Pear Tree. One color seemed like an interesting challenge.
I'm gonna do all twelve and submit them as a compilation later on.

No such thing Cornstarch, two is the least amount of colors you can EVER have in any art medium. One is just plain silly, and used only for walls, cars or anything else that needs a fresh coat of paint.

Well, two if transparency counts, then. Whatever.  I did forget about the User Choice, though. My silly pattern logic assumed one subject, one color.

the feet are a bit odd...

I liked this topic, but I've been working on my Santa thing.  I'll take a break and try to make an entry if I can think of anything...

Morgan: i think some more vibrant colours will help with this--you've got 12 colours to work with, I think you can eliminate some of the close shades and add a different hue .  In general, pure greys are a bit boring, I suggest trying out adding a little bit of colour to it to warm it up a bit.

If you can have an arbitrarily-shaped canvas, one color is enough (origami etc.).

You could also have a black square. One color, and a piece of art, though very boring. I do recall seeing a painting of a black square sell for thousands of dollars though...

That looks nice, but I'm terribly sorry to inform you that that challenge ended already. (they end on Sundays at midnight.)

HOWEVER, there is good news, the new challenge allows you to redo any previous challenge. So you can entry this in the new one.
