it looks like u traced.i know you said you sucked at drawing real life animals, but it dosnt mean you have to trace it. My advice: before pixelling , try to sketch that picture on a peice of paper , just making 3cm x 3cm thumbnails or even a whole sticky note multiple of time to get used to it. Then try again without looking at the picture or ur thumbnails and see what u can come up with, then scan it and pixel it using the picture as a reference. thats how i did mine anyway. ------------- |

a camera maybe, ask the neighbor, go to an internet cafe ( the one near me has a scanner ) there is always a way. You can not escape.

I'd just like to say that these are looking great so far!! I think there are too many colors in yours Spartan. There's also not a lot of contrast. The neck shading seems a bit sharp with that angle there.
And add my WIP if you want.

Hate to say, but thatnew one looks a bit pillowshaded and way too bright. at least in my ultra dark monitor, IMO. the old one just needed a bit more contrast and definition in the face features. --- I've just noticed that banners were made to be set as the oficial banner team. Dogmeat already meade one. but in my opinion you should focus on the head/face of the dog, following the original scheme of these banners. PS.: a point i've noticed that needs some correction: the maximun amount of colors allowed is 31/32, but 14(13+trans) of these are already used in the banner, so the dog itself must have a maximun of 16 colors to fit this rule. but if you are working on the image as a whole new thing(and by this i mean working a a new dog and a new background banner) there's no separate color restriction for the dog, as you are using your own palette for both(if that's the case) ------------- I ate leel's babies |

Hey dogmeat, I'm really sorry I couldn't finish this, it's just that I was loaded with AP homework this week, and I had a camping trip this weekend, so this is as far as I got:
 I was planning on completely starting over. I want to keep the same pose as the dog on the right, but have the cleaner face of the dog on the bottom.
