Very nice tune, sir. Sounds like Fruityloops' 'Plucked'. Forgive me if I'm wrong. When I used to play with that program, it was my all-time favorite 'lead instrument'. Never really finished my own song... Though I did get pretty far into a "If You Want To View Paradise" (or whatever it's called) remix; The song from Willy Wonka and the Chocolate Factory.

Though not my own music, a friend of mine did some Megaman remixes a while back. He's been in an 'artistic slump' as of late. Hope he's able to jump out of it, because he's quite good.

I rarely used 'Plucked' .. though I do have some plucking guitar sounds going on in there. You should check out the rest of them at that site I linked. I've never been able to do a full out remix because I'm not sure how but, I've attempted soome cover-like tunes... like Stripped Again, which is pretty much a cover of Stripped by Depeche Mode.

I'll check out your buddies stuff tomorrow when it's not so late to be playing loud music

I'm listening to them now, they're great mate!

My music can be found http://lawrencemusic.mysite.wanadoo-members.co.uk/index.htm - here , it's mostly experimental drum n bass et cetera, and I've got a lot of projects which should be finished soon.

Nice work! I like them.

myspace.com - MySpace.com has an option of make a band profile that you can feature songs in as well as right about yourself and your music. Don't think you need to be signed up in order to listen to the musicin the profiles.
Just though I would throw that out there. A lot of bands and musicians use it now, makes it eaisier for people to get noticed without a record label.

wow...
You guys are all riling up the personalities that are running around in my head tho...
I am ALREADY branching out from programming to learn pixelling, don't get me started in music too... sheesh! My head is flipping circles now...

Sheesh!

Anyone got some links to these free music makers?
I would love to play around with them...

Also...
Pixelblink... You talk about starting a game made from this site...
I am wondering if you are willing to put your money where your mouth is?
I, for one, am willing to offer the following skills of mine:

1) Technical Writing: I will help document the API / Class Structure of any program that pixel joint AS A SITE decides to create.
2) Manual Writing: I will help write the manual for new players of the game
3) Pixel Art: I will offer my lowly skills as a pixel artist to assist in creating artwork for this game (but be warned, my gallery is viewable, so no one can claim I said I was an expert)
4) Programming: I will aid in whatever fashion I can in programming this game. I am currently fluent in: PHP 4/5, Javascript, Actionscript 2.0, HTML and Visual Basic 6. I am familiar with Java, XML, XSL, DTD, and VBScript. I am also willing to learn any language as needed to aid in coding for this game.
5) Site Hosting: A friend of mine runs his own ISP in Texas, if we had a well-put together multiplayer game, I could get him to host it. He would want to see some kind of pricing scale to charge customers, but he is willing to setup a beta site to get an idea of the community interest in new games. So we would be looking at temporary free hosting and he would want a cut once we started charging of course... As well, I will gladly go in or cover by myself, the cost for Domain Registration and Web Host Services to get something put together. Of course since I would be assuming costs, I would expect a cut of profits to aid in the hosting / domain registration.

eh? Daddy Pixel... you game?
btw love your music, great stuff, I'm jealous

It's not bad. Pretty repetive, and simple chord changes...It'd be fine for a simple game or something like that. I do like the some of the riffs in there. Keep up the work.

Not all that great.Nice, but with ripped samples and some annoying headache stuff.(like the bass , or some cut off instruments)

FruityLoops is not real music. Its way too....Looping. Tracking, thats music.

Posted By: pixelblink
Date Posted: 13 January 2006 at 11:57am
Fruity Loops is, essentially, a sequencer. Basically, techno/electronica is all looped from something. For me FL is an instrument I can use to help get some of those ideas out in the open. I have no ripped samples BTW.

Nice tracks, you got musical talent but the overall dynamic is too boring, add some more interest and make these tracks shorter if you got nothing more to add. Right now it just seems to be drums and some kind of synthesized guitar...

Anyway, you can check out my latest render, its pretty noisy and I was too laizy to make a proper track, so its something different...

Made in Jeskola Buzz, A Tracker with 1000's of plugins included. It also supports VST. And its free. It's tracking abilitys arent that good, but the FX help alot.

Used: HD TR303 ReaL! , Some 909 emu, and the Taurus VST, my all time favorite moog like bass.

I have a recording mixer in my basement, microphones, and now all I need is a good, working computer to hook it up to, so then I can record my own stuff. I play every instrument, so it might actually be decent.

Also, I have some MIDI stuff I made on my computer.
