March 3, 1920 - July 20, 2005  Doohan died at 5:30 a.m. at his Redmond, Wash., home with his wife of 28 years, Wende, at his side. Snader, its odd that you cared enough to post something even if it was just crap. Anyway yeah, this guy was a highly recognisable TV star of the last 40 years and always came across as a decent guy.
