Here is a house I have been working
on for a game that me and a team are working on. It is not complete yet. The right side of the roof is just a mirror
of the left right now, but when it's complete it will be shaded to
match the inferred light source. The left side is still not complete
yet either, as the shading still needs to be fixed up a bit, but it's
just a rough job anyway.
The finished roof will continue back and up a bit to show the top of the roof so that it matches the perspective of the other icons, about a 45 degree angle I think it is. It's still a work in progress and I hope the finished version will look alright. [EIDT]: Here is what I want the other portion of the roof yo look like. Should I mess with the ortho lines at all? Make them shorter or longer?   Gentle CC appreciated.  |

mmm... the perspective seems a bit off. Try extending the grass tile till a bit above the roof. I'm not sure of the exact angle measurement of the perspective but it looks as if you're hovering over in maybe... a 45 degree angle from the ground? Rough estimate there, but if that's the case, the grass should be extended in my opinion. I think overal you've done a good job, especially with the textures. ------------- |
