I like to go back and update existing pixels with skills I've learned later. First up is Crash OLD:  NEW:  I was never too happy with the shine on the dome. Up next, Failsafe gets an overhaul. OLD:  NEW:  Check my gallery for other updated oldies but goodies |

The spaceship won all kinds of awards back in the day, dinnit? I remember it standing out quite strongly. Rapid C&C! - betcha you could get rid of a few of the outlines of the sand in the alien crash! - I think the mask would benefit from more dramatic lighting that pins the light on its head as the only light source (I.E light wouldn't reach some of the lower places in the mask.) you're absolutely right about touching up that sand. I gotta get some selout happening on the ship as well. And I never left, but have been trolling around more and more lately. Thought it time to bounce back in if not for a little bit anyways ------------- |

On the saucer images, I like the sky texture of the old version better. Everything else is better in the new version though. I also like the way FrostPumpkin cleaned up the upper outline of the saucer in his edit. For some additional drama, I think it would be cool if there were some alien-skeletal parts sticking out of the sand near the the broken glass (as if the pilot was thrown out of the craft during the crash) or maybe if his skull would hang out of the hole.
