 greetings folks, this time this challenge wouldn't be a tribute to myself(BD) yet an attemp to revive the old Palette Workshop, with a twist. This time rules are as simple as this: you're encouraged to choose between 2 and 4 colors(2minimun 4 maximun) that you believe are the ones that represents you or your work -or- are the ones that you like. use one of the templates below to portrait your palette.  -  -  now the fun part: when you have choosen your colors(and posted them), you must pick another user's colors and combine them with yours to create a 100x100 image with them.(by combinating I mean taking your colors+his/her colors to create a palette)  As an example, My colors are:  wich combined with demo1 colors results in:  Avaliable Palettes: -Do not forget to post yours!- Metaru: PurpleTree:  LazyCat:  L3m0n5:  Skamocore:  ClubBeuker:  Mille:  Skull:  E-Bomb:  Soda:  Taquito143:  Taikon:  Skeddles:  Reo:  setzer:  Wuuhuu:  Peach:  Aleiav:  BlackDragon:  Greenraven:  *MR21*:  -VIC-:  Tarenken:  Talos:  Noodl:  BlackDragon: Lollige:  Dogmeat:   Join us! ------------- I ate leel's babies |

one question: do i combine my choice palette with your NEW combined palette of grey,black,white, and blue or YOUR palette of just blue and grey?

Sounds extremely interesting, here's hoping I do it right XD I find myself using a lot of gold/brown/yellow-toned colours in my work, and then green is just such a lovely colour, don't you think? |

Green seems to appear in my work a lot, as does lighter yellows. Both with little contrast in my pieces.. :p Edit: Hmm.. a lot of these seem to appear in this topic aswell!!! ------------- |

oh wow, something is wrong with my brain. For some reason it took me until now to realize that that bulging oval was the guy's left shoulder/shoulder pad. But as soon as i realized it, the piece all of a sudden looked 1000 times better. Slickly done Vic, inspiration indeed.

Mine. My 3 favorite colors and the ones that show up in my work (I decided to dump brown in favor of the green... just looks better). Probably combining with Metaru's. Will get started on the piece now |

you are supposed to have your own , single palette and combine it with someone else. otherwise the difficulty of matching your palette with someone else is lost D: thats why you are encouraged to choose your colors once. and share them. and do some pixelart, not just posting your colors expecting someone to sue them. ------------- I ate leel's babies |

How uncreative, eh.  But mostly to try out that grid thing seen in the WIP's first stage by placing lines over the ref and the canvas. But perhaps I could put something of my own in the background, if I ever come up with something. And the claw is really bothering me too, crits/suggestions? |

My bald Norwegian troll figurine for 5 NOK. It's a WIP as you can see ^^ My palette:  and Mille'sThe other palette is Mille's. The lines on the torso and the trousers are the lines were the wood was carved. The reference had hair but I felt lazy and didn't give him any :P The whole is pretty chaotic imo ^^'' |
