Hey, I'm working on a combat-heavy platformer, and I'd like to extend a request for anybody who would be willing to help with drawing tiles and backgrounds. I can do character sprites myself, especially since the programming is closely related to the frame-by-frame animations, but I was hoping for some detailed, rich backgrounds to go alongside them. Or, you know, something remotely close to rich and detailed. I have a pretty good idea of where I want to go with it and what kinds of levels I'll be making; the game is already well underway and planned out. Here's a shot of what my previous backgrounder was working on before he disappeared rather unexpectedly, as an example of the visual style.
