Great! But I think a little more "force" should be applyed when he pushes the shovel in the dirt, right now it looks like the foot is slipping off. And another frame for the dirt falling would be great, because it sorta hangs in the air.

a bit more tension between him and the ground as well as some more dirt going up slowly and then down into the pile as shown in my quick little edit:

I think a better background than white could be used as well :) hope this helps

protip: dot make the dirt leave a 'hole' after he dig it. the continuity of the animation will not be broken and dirt would appear magically then :D
by the way, Pixelblink's edit of the dirt failing reminds me somehow Game & Watch :p

nice look ... need some AA in frames, because now leg look very thin in some parts of animation... also his right arm have too much light blue, but he is in shadow and must be dark ... need maybe one green for grass and to make shadows in left part of the soil, because now soil is very uniform with much noise

thanks for the replies
@zi-double: I totally agree, btw right now I will correct the anim and the shading of the worker as much as possible, and then adjust AA and the terrain (since it's static will not require too much work) @pixelblink: I got it... I'll se if I can get it in that direction @met: lol @game&watch damn I was very young :D and merely forgot about it! @Blackdragon: thanks
