My favourite fps is RtCW and it's multiplayer edition - Wolfenstein Enemy Territory, mostly because I roll at it. I played on a high competetive level in netRunners which went 2nd at PoznanGameArena.
For any of you who don't know the game, it's a game which takes place while World War 2. You might choose between Allies or Axis forces, and 5 different classes:
Soldier: has no special skills, but is very usfull in taking down many opponents at the same time.
Can use weapons:
x Thompson / MP40
x Mobile MG
x Flamethrower
x Panzerfaust
x Mortar
x 4 Granades
x Colt / Luger
x Knife
Medic: when he spawns he has small amount of ammo but in my opinion he's the deadlies in close quarter combat. He regenerates his health points (hp) by 3 every second! He can revive with a needle and throw medkits for his teammates.
Can use weapons:
x Thompson / MP40
x Up to 2 Granades
x Colt / Luger
x Knife
Engineer: without him you can't do the objective. He can construct Mobile MGs, Command Posts, repair the tank. One of the advanteges is the Rifle (Granade Launcher) which causes some uber damdge.
Can use weapons:
x Thompson / MP40
x Garand / K43
x Up to 8 Granades!
x Dynamite
x Landmines
x Colt / Luger
x Knife
Field Ops: His high battle sense makes him powerfull and commonly used but it really takes skill to play well with that class. He's low amount of health points, but he catches up with ability to call an airstrike and plenty of ammo.
Can use weapons:
x Thompson / MP40
x Colt / Luger
x Knife
x Up to 2 Granades
x Artillery
Covert Ops: Deadly accurate, can go under cover by stealing killed opponents suit. One of his best skills is killing with 1 knife stab.
Can use weapons:
x Sten / FG42 / Garand / K43
x Colt / Luger (either silenced or not)
x Up to 4 Granades
x Smoke Granade
x Satchel (explosive pack)
x Knife

Yeah it's a great game. I installed Team Fortress Classic yesterday and i laughed at the pyros flamethrower (fire especially)

You know Fatal1ty? I managed to kill him on PGA XD Still lost 12 to -3 but hes 12 times world champion he even talks about me in an interview. I am one of the best Enemy Territory players in Europe. Check the Fragvids i posted earlier on. My skill is med+ (above medium which is really good, represented my country in international scrims) I get about 3/4 headshots per kill and my accuracy doesn't decrease by 60%, Is there such thing like Trickjumping or bunnyhopping in Unreal? [...] and is there a big community? I don't like to play on public servers cause the level of their gameplay is very low and i get just noobified. Cheers.

I was totally on the realistic FPS. I played a long time with Medal of Honour: Allied Assault. the only of the serie well done and even with a "light" engine. after that I started playing Urban Terror an RtCW mod, but game physics sucked alot so I began playing NS:CO a Q3A mod. The small community was great but when developers denied any further update to the game everyone switched in a short period to another mod of RtCW called True Combat Elite, that was fun, even the developers were good in fixing some small realistic issues within the game. After that I stopped playing. I had no time and still have no time for myself but I drop some pixels around for my pleasure. I believe I was sick of playing so much. |

My favorite FPS of all time is Half Life. It was so groundbreaking. Great voice acting, graphics, game play, and just about everything else for its time. |

fav FPS are 3. Duke Nukem 3D(priceless humor)
Halo(i just keep playing the 1st version, its simple, and thats how i like it).
