I am probably not the only one here who is in the middle of his/her vacation (in my case HIS! okay? ;)), and I would like to hear how your vacation is/was and what you did!

Ill kick off:

I started with going to Vlieland, witch is an island in Holland were no cars are allowed, there is a camping there with around 1000 tents. I was there with my dad, his girlfriend and my brother and I filled the whole week with juggling. The weather started bad but at the end of the week I was able to swim in the sea a few times.

After that week I should go to Czech Republic with my mom and brother, but at the day before we left we figured that the car we hired is not allowed in Czech. The customs post might have taken our car just because it was an Alfa Romeo (Italian car brand). So we drove to Germany, near Austria. We stayed there for one week.  There was a nice swimming pool with a diving board I learned myself a back flip on.

Than the third week was the high of my vacation: We went to the EJC.
The European juggling convention. Its called European but there were visitors from USA to China. We were there for me actually, and at first I didn't like it I wasn't there on my own, but it seemed I was still able to juggle until 5 or 6 PM, sadly I had to be awake at breakfast around 10 PM ;)
The weather was great, I made a lot of new international friends and learned a lot of new things. If you want to have an impression of the festival go here: http://ca.youtube.com/results?search_query=EJC+2008+Karlsruhe&search_type= there are relative videos only. I am visible in a few of them too, but you can only find me if you know where I would be ;). 5000 jugglers, 9 days long. The list of videos will probably get larger very fast, the festival officially ended 8 hours ago now ;)

Now I am home for 2 days, and than I am going to work in the restaurant of the camping were I was the first week, for 4 weeks long. Witch is pretty much. (38 hours a week, no sleeping again).

Thats my vacation.

Whats yours?
Or do you have to work/go to school?

How is the snow at the winter side of our planet?

Does your sun shine too?

I would like to read about that :)

Lollige

I went to Italy(Sardina)and had a great time!
It was hot as hell every day!
We hired an apartment from an old couple(who didn't speak english)
They were nice, though there was quite the communication problem.
We were on the beach everyday I read a couple of books.
Other then that iv'e been hanging out with friends at home!

Tomorrow is the first day of my last two days in freedom and on Monday it's back to work, where I will have to continue to write boring software again. :(

I just had three awesome weeks of vacation(my first one this year), didn't went anywhere big or for a long time though.

First weekend I was at Wacken Open Air (which is one of the largest open air heavy metal festivals in the world with 70.000 visitors), which alone already made the vacation worth the time as I got to see Iron Maiden there.

The second week, I went to the beach a few times and had a small two player LAN party with an old friend and used all the remaining time(which actually was the bigger chunk of the whole week) to work on my entry for the weekly challenge here (the Time Travel one).

This week, I continued to work on that piece of pixel art some more, went to the beach again once and to a nice little wildlife park on another day where I took quite I few pictures of the animals there, which I will probably use someday as references for drawing and/or pixelling practice.

I also went to a seal station one day, where I took pictures of those cute creatures.

I currently feel a little sad that this vacation is over in two days, so sad actually, that I feel like I can't breath right and that it makes me dizzy a bit (I always get that feeling when my "free" days are about to end, it used to be like that already back in school whenever the holidays ended. *sigh*)

End of vacation means that all my energy will be drained by the soul sucking programming job again and that I will not have much time to pixel and draw anymore.

In review I wish I had used the time better (another thing that keeps repeating whenever my "free" days are ending) but looking back it was one of the best vacations I've ever had, even though I did not get to do all the things that I had planned to do (too little time).

I went to Spain, L'escala. Me and my cousin had a really great time partying, swimming, laying in the sun and shopping

We had a fun vacation, wish it had lasted some weeks longer ;)

My vacation = boredom.
I've been at my grand ma's and I'm still there, in the south of France. There sea, sex sand and sun...The only problem is that I don't like all those things :/
Can't help waiting for the end of it, as it will be my first year in graphic art high school.
