im thinking about buying a drawing palet for my computer, because i suck at mouse drawing, i wnat this to help with my lineart,
is this a good idea? yes or no?

Yes, mine is broken.
If I am lucky it would work after a few minutes randomly scribbling on it, but it wont work good now. It was a cheap (30€ / 4000000$) tablet, but others who have them have not had problems (at least the people I know don't).

okay, im going to ask one for christmas, i think it will be about 60 euros.
i've noticed that some have a very large area you can draw on, almost an a4, and some only have one about 6+4 inches or 9+6 cm

I've got an a5 and it's really as big as you will ever need as an artist. I think a4 would even be quite tiresome to use.
Unless, of course, you feel like drawing with your ARM- but then a4 would probably be too small. And I believe drawing with your arm doesn't work very well with lineart (though it's a personal thing, really).
