Hello, This is Anony of Anony Mouse Studio I am currently looking for an artist/partner for my upcoming web comic for the launch of my new website. It's a comic strip about the life of an anthropomorphic and silent square in a fantasy world full of personified shapes, objects, and other non living things replacing living things such as humans,plants,etc... I know the premise seems odd but much of the comic has been planned already it's humor is in the style of classic cartoons mostly inspired by the original Pink Panther series. What Am I looking for? An artist to sprite or draw the artwork and/or a partner who could also co-write the comic as well as create their own comics. Which I would host free of charge. The latter option of a partner to help run the comic is optional as you could choose to just to provide artwork. How will it be done? Method 1: You can hand draw or sprite every frame of the comic as is common in web comic creation. Method 2: You can create a sheet of the characters in various poses or doing various actions. On which I can take the artwork and put together the comic strips. If time is not an obstacle method 1 is recommend, Or if your strapped for time or just choose method 2 if this method is chosen then artwork is required to be pixel based. Benefits Simple and easy designs usually consisting of a simple shape or design with simple 1 pixel thick lines for arms and legs. Creative Freedom: Seeing as the comic is to have a surreal theme you are given complete artistic freedom to create the artwork however you wish. Be more than an artist by co-writing strips, creating your own comics,etc... Design Characters: With the exception of a few you are given complete artistic freedom to design many of the places and characters Free web hosting: I can also provide free hosting for artwork or comics.. Payment Unfortunately most of the website budget has gone into creating the website as well as some web cartoons. I am only able to pay by % of profit. You will be payed 50% of web comic earnings if you choose to be a partner and help co-write/run the comic. You will be paid 25% off comic earnings if you choose to only be the artist. Payments will only occur after comic brings in at least $100 worth of profit. You will be paid for as long as you provide artwork or contribute to comic. When comic becomes more profitable a switch to flat fee may occur.
