Greetings,

Centurion Games currently has an opening for a artist that is capable of producing high quality top down view tile sets. Tile size is currently looking to be 64x64 with 32bit color. This is for a spaced based 2D shooter and as such most of the artwork will require a techno, spacey, and high detail look to it.

Tile work would consist of mostly obstacle layer tiles, and higher tile layers that will need to incorporate transparent areas.

Minor tile animation such as tiles that have sections that light on and off may also be required.

One example of artwork would be:

The key however would be to bring these types of graphics up to modern day standards, with nice shading and seamless tiling. Note that this is a pure top down view, and not the traditional RPG type view where you would see the front and top of objects, or side and top.

In total I believe we need around 40-50 tiles created. There is also some other work available such as GUI HUD elements, and box art if interested.

We would like to have the art completed by ideally mid to end of December.

Please send portfolios, and quotes directly to gregg.williams@centurion-games.com

Thank You
Centurion Games
Gregg Williams
