I got this message...

" Revision required for ../pixels/submit_icons.asp?id=38359 - isofun!

REASON: If you use a detail image the small image should match.

This is not to say you cannot resubmit the piece in the future after revising it. We encourage you to participate in our http://pixeljoint.com/forum/ - forums which include a Work in Progress (WIP) category. This is a great opportunity to gain knowledge and feedback for your pixel pieces before submitting them for approval on the main site.

If you feel this is a mistake please post a FRIENDLY message in the Resources/Support section of the forum and we'd be happy to discuss it with you. Responses to this issue within the gallery site will be ignored. "

Why is a revision required?

Sorry for my bad english..

The preview image (the small 'isometric' text) doesn't match the full image. In this case it would be best to use a part of the full image as the preview, as it would make people more likely to click it when they see it in the gallery. It's quite a nice piece and the preview doesn't do it justice :)

Forget about what other people have done. There are a lot of things that were submitted years ago that probably would be sent back if they were submitted today. Focus on the stuff that you are submitting now.

The point is, it still goes against submission rules:

"If you use a detail image the small image should match."

Is there really any advantage of having a preview like that, anyway? I really like the actual piece. But I wouldn't know if I didn't click the preview. I garuntee there are lots of people who have skipped over your image because of the unenticing preview.

While we're on the topic, why did you change your love apple preview to a cube?

Previews really should be a 100x100 (or less) sample representing the larger image and not an entirely different piece.

okay, okay..

btw,

" While we're on the topic, why did you change your love apple preview to a cube? "

Cuz I wanted the cube as an avatar, but didn't want to submit it.
