Any crit before I start doing poses/characters?

Crit on the shape of the whole thing is welcome. Shading/aa on the body will changing according to the clothes the character wears, so thats not really needed I think.

The head shape and the legs look good. It seems as though the torso should be shorter though.

I dunno. The head is already 1/2 the whole thing. If I make the body even smaller, the head would look too big. Maybe when I cover it up with clothes it wont look that big? =/

Usually, a too big head is not a problem, but now the body just does not match up with the non cartoony styled legs.

If you would make a very cartoony thing of it, it might be possible to go with these legs, but still its a bit weird.
I suggest making that body smaller too. The head size is ok

Ok, thanks guys. Anything else or should I start animating?

EDIT: Tried a warrior like dude.

I am happy with the face, but I feel the armor could be way better. Any tips?

Armor is usually shinny. This doesn't really look shiny. You might want to just brighten up the lightest shade in the armor.

Didnt look good. Added another color, still not entirely happy with it =/

EDIT:

Maybe the hair looks better like this?

quick edit on the armor, I think I was able to give it a bit of a shine, I seperated the pant leggings so they are more like armor less like shorts.
edit: oh I also enlarged the shoulder pads a bit, you can put them back to the size they were if you want, sorry I forgot to make background transp.

That's exactly what I was talking about skooba-dude. I think the brighter hair looked a little better.
