Hey there! I have acouple WIPs, but I'll post those later.

For now I'd like to know what everyone thinks about my rendition of Megaman X and classic Megaman. Originally I was making a custom X sprite, then totally used it as a base for the classic version. I'm considering scraping or undergoing a lot of modification for the X sprite, but only time shall tell.
The bottom 2 are outlined cause I liked the way it looked.

Let me know what you think!
Thanks!

Ok.. I guess my stuff may not be up to par?
I dunno.
Anyways, here's another WIP I've had for years. I always find something about it that's wrong.
Cloud Strife of Final Fantasy 7.

This was one of my many early creations that I would later scrap and redo completely. Honestly I feel it's an never ending inevitable cycle, but I'm always drawn to this piece. Mostly I want to post it as saying "Hey, this is my progression into sprite making.", but then again it's not all that spectacular for 3 years of experience...

What can I say? Even though I'm not good, this is just something I love! XD

I like the megaman X, and megaman, I don't think theres any advice I can give to help you on those two. with the cloud sprites, I'm guessing the far right one is the most recent version, but I prefer the one before that. With the both the last two, they need a darker outline colour with more contrast on the inner colours
P.s , try waiting 1 or 2 days rather then an hour for replies before declaring you're work "must not be up to par".

ditch the black and dark outlines around all edges. it eats a lot of space of your character making it really thin and lacking volume. since the sprite itself its quite small, its the shading what should define each shape instead of the outline.

and dont feel bad if your thread doesnt recieve replies at 1st try. we tend to be a bit slow from time to time, but you'll never go unnoticed.
