I really need help on this.. I really need to learn how to shade wood.. So. Here is my image I made... A kissing booth. The sign and the kissing booth are supposed to be made of wood.. I know my pixel art is terrible!! But I really need help on everything, so all criticism is welcome.

Um, aren't kissing booths, booths? This is more kissing building.
Try using google to get a reference picture.

Make them wooden? Or make that second one thinner and wooden.

Remember one person will be in there, with a sign on it, and a line of people.
As for wood, don't just use one color, give it texture. Define some boards maybe.

P.S. Sorry if this was not your main idea. If you have another, just go with it.
Trust me, my art is basically the same as yours. You will get better.

Oh shading, hmm. Figure out where the light is coming from. From that give it shadows and shading accordingly. Then decide what type of texture you want the building, wood, metal, etc.
For wood I would give the impression of wood planks maybe?
Sorry as you know I am not an expert either.

Also I guess we have different views of what a kissing booth is lol. Well go with what you want.
