I was looking at some CRAP art on DeviantArt; you know pixel art done in Photoshop, non-iso listed as iso, non-pixel listed as pixel, etc. and then I found some really great pieces.  My first thought when seeing the good pixels on DA was, "wow, why are they wasting their time here?" (nevermind what I was doing there).

So, my question is: what is the general attitude here about sending "invitations" to artists we see out-and-about to come here and share their stuff?  I know I've gotten a lot out of the PJ community and I've only been here 2 weeks, and I hope to start contributing more as well.

Thoughts?

Pixeljoint is a community driven place. Any community member can invite anyone to join and participate. Members may also share links, tutorials or anything that relates to pixelart. Members may also write up challenges, interview others for featured artist. It is up to you how involved you choose to be.

NOTE: Photoshop (or any graphic program that works on the pixel level) is acceptable for creating pixelart so long as the usage of tools is kept pixelart 'friendly'.

And if it isn't there's always the non-pixelly thread.
