WIP sprites for my game team's RPG. Woo.

First up is a general WIP line up of some of the main heroes of the game. I'm still working on these, so I know some of the shading is a bit off. Just bear with me. I was just wanting to get a rough idea of what each character looks like in pixel form.

From left to right: Indecelio, Marcelle, Kujiforo (my favourite one), Kayci, Momoreiie, Jessika, Jiefer, and Beryl.

Kayci's Idle Stance pose:

Kayci's Taunt:

On the plus: Really nice knee action in the Idle stance pose, very fluid.  I like the shading on the hair also.

On the minus: The knee bend in the taunt doesn't seem to fit, and it seems to me that the axe should sway a little bit when the arm moves in both animations.

Thanks for the input. I don't know how the axe would sway (its resting on the ground pretty firmly; if you saw it in the battle program you'd see what I'm talking about), but perhaps I can make the top sway just a bit. I'll see what I can do.

Thanks again!

I'm not too sure how it would move either, to be honest but it looks like just the edge of the blade is resting on the ground and so there would be room for the axe to rock towards the figure a bit.  Either that or "bury" the part that touches the ground a little to give the impression that it's really planted well.
