i drew these characters for a game that will never happen. but i liked them a lot s i started to pixel over them using the pen colors. oviously i only started(and finnished) the first one update  |

i actually think that im gonna keep the palette because they are meant to be pen drawn chars. bad guy draws bad guys so good guy draws good guy and has to save the note book world (bad idea for a game i realized after, already done) but any crits on the pixels them selves would be greatly apreciated

If they are meant to be pen drawn, remember that you cant shade like that with a pen. (not most of pens anyway). You need to do that thing, you know, with all those thin, parallel lines? I dont remember how its called and its prolly not possible on such a small piece anyway. What about using, like, 3 colors? Blue, Red and Black? Make it look like you are using BIC pens or something. |

You could also cross hatch or stipple.

Looking good anyways. The colors look good as is, just watch your contrast, make sure it's consistent.

edited it to try and goodify the colours a bit, found out that their not that bad, its just that you need to seperate diff parts of the body or clothes with diff colours.
oh yeh- changed annoying blue lines to black, and tried to make the first guy able to support his weight. -------------

They are better, does the magician type character have hair?, if so, it needs to be sharper, I included this in my edit.
They all seem to have floating'things' neear their heads, you should make them like little elemental symbols. MAgician-moon. WHat is this 'story'? -------------

the magician does have hair but it is meant to be un-spikey, not all hair is pointy :P well the story i thought up so far is in the world this takes place in everyone has a little floating thingy and some are just normal but some are really powerful and stuff. and one time the bad guys gang up and put their floaty thing s together and they steal all the world's color. the main character is determined to help get the color back. he collects the floaty things off enemys he defeats and it serves the purpose of exp points. each bosses floaty thing gives him a new power because it it more powerfull then other people's. and that my freind is the very unorigonal story ------------- |
