Hello, my name is Mike Horton. I am an 8-bit musician under the name EvilWezil with a release on Pause Music, a highly respected netlabel that generates plenty of traffic and was voted 2008痴 netlabel of the year by True Chip Till Death. My first album can be found here:

I知 currently in the works on three new albums, all of which should be out before 2009 is done. Each of them have different concepts and all of them need album pixel art! You can see on my album page that there is a link and credit for the album artist, guaranteeing hits to your page from anyone who likes your work.

The three album-storylines I知 working with right now are time travel, space travel, and super-cyborg ninja strippers! All of which are begging for you to bring to life.

In addition to cover art, I also wanted to release small intro and outro videos that correlate to the storyline of the album, which would be done in the style of NES intros: a pseudo-animated slideshow-style pixel art showcase of your work! My goal is to release these as m4v痴 and include them in the album download package, so they would effectively act as the first and last tracks of the album in iTunes. I知 looking for some really dark, gritty, high contrast stuff for the videos. My first instinct would be hyper-realistic like the following batman example, but I could be swayed to roll with something bizarre and nauseatingly stylized if it fits:

If I was making money off it, I壇 share it, but I知 releasing the albums for free... If you are at all interested in this, please contact me via email at TheMikeHorton(at)yahoo.com with some links to your work, why not? And we値l talk maybe?

-Mike
