I've been a spriter for almost ten years now, and I think my passion for spriting, and most art in GENERAL, is really taking a toll. Perhaps it's just the internet getting to me, communities everywhere I've tried being either filled with biggoted idiots who try to assimilate their art style into one's own, or rookies with wasted talent coming out with works of horrible, bandwagon-hopping current trends and current popular things.
 
 
What can an old spriter like me to do rekindle my passion for spriting? I keep trying to lately, I'm just DYING for it, but I only ever manage small things anymore, and even now I can barely will myself to lift up my tablet pen.

For this we have the weekly challenges.
Challenge yourself by taking them on. It may not be what you want to make, it may be horrible, it may even be silly. With one week to layout, create, and complete (no chance to procrastinate, ponder and time to focus on biggeted idiots) it just may be that kick in the butt to get the creative juices running.
