I created a portrait pic of myself (just a head) all from scratch using photoshop. I submitted this image a few days ago and now i see a message in my inbox which let me know that my pic was not accepted. the message said this:
---------- "REASON: Any art you post should be PIXEL ART! Pixel art implies
that each pixel is placed by hand (no filters, paintbrushes, gradient
fills, etc)." ----------
But i DID do it all on my own. the only thing that i did not do from scratch was the simple text above my portrait which says my name

The problem seems to be a technical issue. Over 256 colors are in your image so......... either you have not set up PS for pixelart (resource section has this-do a search) OR/AND you scaled the BG somehow to come up with that many colors which could not be made by hand. This is not allowed if this is the case, k. No scaling pixels. Also, 'just the text' is also not really allowed, try to pixel everything by hand. You just need to fix a couple of things ;)
