Hi, I'm looking for a pixel artist to create the Sprites for a medieval/fantasy PBBG (Persistent Browser Based Game).

Company
Atom Creations ( http://www.atomcreations.com - http://www.atomcreations.com ) is a small online games development business based in the UK that has specialized in PBBGs for the last four years.

Job Info
The work is to design and produce Sprites (approx 50x50) for an upcoming game set in a medieval/fantasy world. Firstly a base set of Characters are needed of a human, dwarf, elf and orc in both male and female versions. In the game transparent images of Items like head gear, clothes, armor, weapons etc will be laid over the base image as required. These Items will be placed onto the base image and although some will be produced in house the majority will be requested from the pixel artist. These requests may eventually include hundreds of Sprites over a period of months so this is a long term commitment to be part of the project. The project will also require a Tile Set but as the Sprites will not appear directly on the Tile Set the work of producing those images will appear as a separate Job.

Requirements
- A strong understanding of medieval/fantasy game characters, clothes, weapons etc.
- Ability to produce Sprites representing a wide variety of RPG elements from gold coins and barrels to magic and skills.

Pay
Once an artist has expressed interest I'll contact them with more details and ask for a quote for the work that is required. I'm more interested in the quality and style of the work an artist can provide but cost will play a part in deciding which artist to go with. Payment can be through Paypal, Moneybookers or ePassporte. To reduce transfer fees we'll probably pay in batches of Sprites but this can be worked out with the artist as they want it.

Example Character showing a base set of a human male with Items being layered
This shows the kind of clean/simple look we're going for as it makes layering easier
