I strongly recommend you link to the image directly by putting the url in [img][/img] tags, because a) this forum has a zoom feature which allows people to blow your image up several hundred percent and analyze it on the pixel level, and b) the easier you make it to view the image, the more likely people will be to respond.

Select the address, copy it, open a new browser window, paste the address, squint at the tiny image, change browser window, begin writing reply, switch back, squint some more... see what I mean?

You used a photoshop filter on the floor and walls, from what I can see. You also used transparency on that table. This is not pixel art. Jut letting you know P:

everything apart from transparency is hand pixeled

At 1,288 colors yet still a PNG, I highly doubt that...

Its because of the filters.

From what I see here, you used gradients and all your shapes arent done by hand? Thats not how pixel art should be done... Its okay if you want to call that a hybrid, but still...
From my point of view, pixel art is carefully placing each pixel where it is supposed to be, instead of using filters and gradients to get the effects you want.

i did not use gradients, i did it by hand.

Don't be rediculous. It is extremely obvious you have used filters. You can either remove the filters, and actually do this piece using a pencil tool, or you will have to deal with the next posts which will probably end up flaming you for using filters.

exept the transparency there are honestly no filters and i can prove it too. only look at the espresso machine  , the pitcher and cup. floor and walls are temporary.

the counter will be replaced. i need constructive crits not yelling that its not pixelart and you use gradients and whatnot. only ps effect i use is transparency.

Its more so the fact that you are clearly lying that these are not using any filters besides opacity. If you just let us know that you understand that you did use filters, then I would assume most of us would let this go faster. That is it for my replies, I don't want to argue since there is no reason to over such an obvious one way arguement.

please point out what other filter do you mean and where on the picture

Jeez, what's with all the hostility?

Yeah, please do. I don't see anything that doesn't look hand-pixelled cept the trans and the lingering floor pattern that's a part of the rectangular table. Which, karlneal, you say is made by hand anyway. Can you describe your method? It seems like it'd take an eternity without a spraycan tool or tiling.

Anyhow, trans is OK here, but it won't get into the gallery. Just FYI.

the counter uses noise filter but is only temporary because a new counter is underway and be finished soon. today i already replaced the floor.

Gotcha. Thanks for clearing that up. I think that's what everyone was yelling at you about, because you said "everything apart from transparency is hand pixeled" after lucas_irineu specifically mentioned the texture on the floor and walls.

Ah well, water under the bridge. Just be sure to be honest and upfront about your methods in the future. Unless you like getting yelled at :D

Something is wrong with that table, it appears to be hovering instead of on the ground, I would re-work its perspective to make it correlate with the other images.

Looking good. Remember that walls usually have a http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Baseboard - baseboard at the bottom rather than just going straight into the floor.

[EDIT] Also, the shadow from the round table is all wrong on the wall.

also make sure to use a different color on the inside wall of that window so you can tell it's a different plane. shadow below the table doesn't quite make sense, the shadow should bend at the wall

quick edit. could someone tell me how to do a table shadow

like a foreshortened circle that bends at the wall. just know where your lightsource is (not sure you have one, judging by the lighting of the various elements) and shade accordingly.

You used so many unique colors just for that tiny star in the painting!

I really like the floor pieces where they change colors. I'd incorporate them into all the floor panels. Just some random arrangement of them in a non-pattern to add a lot of asymmetrical interest to the piece. It would be very nice in my opinion. :3

I think some coffee's paper kleenex dispensers like in the 80s would fit well. Did not find any pics on google.

I don't know dude, it must be me or something but it seems like your chairs, and table are in the air. It might be the perspective/lack of shadows it give off or something.

It's begging for a potted plant or hat rack or umbrella stand or something in that corner by the door. Nice work so far :D

Also, the shadow from the table should be on the stand for the table as well.

@UnHated: Everything appears to be in proper perspective.

The tables do have an error.

The space from the floor to where the bottom of the window sill would be is 101 pixels. The table is (from the bottom of the stand to the very underside of the top) approximately 95 pixels (I may be off with where I counted from; but it's close to that).

So, the tables should be under the sill. I'd suggest simply raising it (the sill) about 10 or 15 pixels to compensate. :3

[Edit]

Or, haha, just moving the table away from the sill a few pixels. :P

I think it is the light source that threw me off, if you look at the tables stand you can see that the light is coming from the right, then you look at that machine the big one, the light is coming from the front. Look at the table next to it, and the light is back to be coming from the right. I think that's what made it seem weird.
