| lol, hmm I love the piece already, but It looks like you could definitely improve it. The characters although they scale decently to the piece are very lacking, also with it being that small I know its hard to fit in any details. Maybe increasing the canvas some, to the point of where you can see their faces. Or add a little more to the background, give it a little more depth. Their cave I think you did well on, and I love the window :), but maybe try and incorporate that into the background as far as shading goes? I will say one thing though I think your off to a pretty good start. I wish I could give more details but I'm fairly new to this. Best of luck though! |

Not able to raise score does not mean it needs to be changed. "Does not fit quality of standards" means it needs to be changed. You could, if you want, try submitting again. I think it's fine the way it is. But then again I'm not the most disagreeable person you're ever going to come across. actually green raven, both mean the piece needs to be changed. one just mean " if it was sent back, then that is a moderator decision, and it's annoying to send the same stuff back repeatedly. posting in the WIP was the correct course of action. i'd remove the text and work on the shading of the cave. and optimize your palette by removing unnecessary colors and upping contrast in some areas. |
