You're 15, how would you know "what is worth it"?
Do you even realize how much I would earn if I or someone else made those all tiles? Not even donations can earn that much

Posting critique in non-paid threads is allowed :) and your age has to do alot with it, believe me.

Don't expect good quality outcome then :)

I'd say your age has a lot to do with it, given your attitude.

Seriously though, you're not acting very mature.  As Elk already explained, there's no reason anyone would want to do all this work, especially not with any compensation.  It would be more acceptable if you at least offered something other than your thanks, but no matter how you look at it, this is really way too much to ask for free labor.  And now, with the way you're acting, you've severely lowered your chances of anyone wanting to help you.
Although, if you're really determined to make this project successful, you can always look up some tutorials and do the graphics yourself.

I dont agree. I am 15 too and I am not that immature.

KSB: Really, its a sh*tload of working that you are asking us to do, and some people would be willing to pay over a thousand dollars to get that work done. And you want someone to do it for free. Chances are, everyone will ignore you.

Hm, I've been thinking a little and I've decided that yeah, you're right.  Age doesn't have anything to do with it.  Just attitude.  If he hadn't gotten all pissed off in his second post, and just remained calm, this topic would be much different.

Good luck, aswell
acting like you did, is also bad for press-released, unless you have your own PR men.

Yes, and that amount includes advertisement, coding, graphics, pr, writers, and other stuff.

If you arn't paying anyone, then you'll end up having children in your team with no real social and productive skills, meaning, they will work whenever they feel like, meaning they will not have some motivation all the time.

Aswell, they don't have experience with anything.

ok lets sum up this whole thing shall we.

Your Age:
well in terms of how you know what is or isn't important for the project your right, it isn't important. but in temrs of your attitude it is an issue and you'll never get help if you act like an asshole. artists like myslef and many others around here ask only to be treated witha bit of respect. sure we all lose our tempers at some point but only for a message or two then we apologize for it. that is the difference between someone older and you. its called being mature. if you ere more mature you might stand a chance at getting helped.

Money:

yes what was said before is true, if you don't pay peopel. the only people which will jump aboard are people from forums, and they will all be kinds or people with not alot of skill. and they won't be productive.

i find its good to get some money before asking for a task like this, also i hope you realize no commercial game ever made has had 1000+ tile sheets. thats just f**king stupid. really shows you don't know what your doing.

Comments:

people around here, like to give avice, sometimes its the kind of advice that says "looks great" which really feels good to hear sometimes because constructive critism can really get me agry when thats all you ever receive. but all you got was one comment before you decided to get mad.

in all honesty if you ant to pick on the communty pick on them for how they help people. there constuctive feedback is fine, its the fact that if they help they refuse to show you things visually. and in most cases thats alot of the reason why artists like myslef get stuck on things. if we had the skills to do it we would have never posted.

other then that this place is perfect. however i would stay clear of pixelation until your a pro. because until you've basically mastered pixel art there comments will mean nothing to you.

Price:
everyone works at there own rates. the fact that elk wanted $300 isn't that bad. many artists ask for $10 a frame. so if you want an animation in good quality it winds up costing you bucket loads. but at the same time if your willing to sacrifice the quality of the images you receive then the price drops. which is why forums work for free because they are made of artists that are just learning. very rarely will you ever get helped by someone with good skills for free.

End:

well i picked apart your argument, told it how it is. if you consider this post of mine simply me picking on you, then i would agree with everyone else and say your an "immature little brat, get out!" lol, and by the way don't be so serious. being calm can really help sometimes when you aren't getting what you would have hoped for. but if you consider this post a helpful post which was intended to help you out and end this argument, then i say perhaps this project of yours has some hope.

Being 18 makes a big difference, you can sign contracts, as 15, you cannot :)
And I wouldn't give up these forums
atleast you get replies here, unless on pixelation
