http://www.friendsoffoamy.com/videos/achievements-episode-178 - Watch this first.

It seems no matter what game you play these days, whether you're playing on one of the three major consoles or one of the portables or even on a pc, there's almost always some sort of achievement / medal / reward / ribbon / trophy / whatever.

So what are your thoughts on that?

1: What are some of the hardest / easiest / funniest / weirdest trophies you're ever unlocked?

2: Sometimes trophies have a description on how to unlock them, sometimes it's just three question marks. Which do you prefer?

3: Finally, what are your thoughts about http://www.urbandictionary.com/define.php?term=trophy+whore - trophy whores ?

1: The only funny thing I can think of off the top of my head right now is Fallout 3's "Psychotic Prankster" where you have to pickpocket someone and put a grenade INTO their inventory.

And the only easiest / stupidest I can think of is Killzone 2's "Bullet Counter", reload 100 times oh wow yeah that's SO hard.

2: Personally I prefer NOT to know what a trophy is until I earn / unlock it. Makes it that more enjoyable.

3: They make me laugh. I for one don't care much about trophies. If I get one I get one, it's cool, but I'm not going to go out of my way just to unlock one.

Skate 2's acheivements are pretty hard/funny, like the one where you have to finish all paths on hall of meat, that is both funny/time consuming (About 20 hours???)/and hard.

1. Hardest achievement was getting all weapons in order to get the last of the endings (5 out of 5) in Drakengard 1... that really took a long time and effort.

2. It depends in what game... some games I wish everything was explained, some others I wouldn't want it to be spoiled.

3. I'm not a trophy whore... only when it's a game I really really like, then I get really ambitious onto getting everything. I get more ambitious if it's a 2nd playthrough, on the 1st playthrough of a game, I just play it without caring for getting everything.
