Good afternoon!

You might remember me from such webpages as the Mario Sprite History ( http://nfg.2y.net/games/mariosprites/ ), or perhaps you’ve seen it in the Official Nintendo Magazine (UK). Or, more likely, you’ve never heard of me. I run a little game site ( http://nfg.2y.net/ ) and have had my writings published in a couple of magazines and several online sites.

Surprisingly someone has asked me to write a book - a real book, with a publisher and everything. It’s for real. It’s on pixel art, and mobile devices.

One section of the book will be a pixel art tutorial, and I tell you what, if anyone knows how to make pixel art it's you guys. I've wasted most of my morning going through the pixeljoint galleries instead of writing - some of it is jaw-droppingly cool.

Which brings me to my point:

I'm hoping to detail the amount of work that goes into pixel art by showing some of the techniques and processes involved. Isometric, game sprites, dithering techniques, it's all great stuff.

If you have made a tutorial on any kind of sprite art techniques, and would like (or wouldn't mind) to see all or some of it in print, please let me know, either in this thread or by emailing me.

Thanks in advance for any replies or suggestions.

I shouldn't be here.
