I'm looking for an artist, or artists, to do graphics for a game that I'm making.
TYPE OF GAME: A downloadable shareware game aimed at
casual gamers, such as those at games.yahoo.com, realarcade.com, or
zone.msn.com. It is a word puzzle game.
QUALITY NEEDED: Something comparable to the top games on those sites.
GFX NEEDED: Full-screen background (a picture of the
inside of a room), slightly animated (talking) character, textures (for
a simple rectangular 3D object-- no 3D knowledge necessary), fonts,
interface graphics.
PAYMENT: A share of royalties, however much or little that
may turn out to be. Payment is xy/z, where x=total royalties,
y=hours you spend, z=total hours spent by everyone.
PROGRESS: Game is complete except: graphics, music,
sound effects, optimizations, installer, voice-overs, and certain
improvements to rendering quality that I may decide to implement.
MY REPUTATION: I've already finished these games in the past:
http://www.popcap.com/launchpage.php?theGame=tiptop - Tip Top
http://www.realarcade.com/game?gameid=cycles - Cycles
http://www.lumental.com/wdragon.html - Warrior Dragon
So finishing this game will be a trivial matter as long as someone will do the graphics.
LOCATION: Work must be performed remotely.
CONTACT INFO: Please send a private message through the
forum. Send a link to your resume, or if it's not online, I will
tell you my e-mail address so that you can send some samples directly.

Oooh, I love word puzzle games. I'm addicted to Bookworm and my girlfriend and I play Boggle quite a bit. Is it possible to see an example of the gameplay without graphics?

I'm still trying to keep details about the game confidential, so I'm
only giving out info to anyone who seems willing and capable of doing
anything for it.
Whoever ends up doing graphics for it will receive a demo and will replace my own placeholder art.
