As some of you may remember a weekly challenge or two ago a certain piece was forced to be censored because 'likeomigod they're having sex, zomg'. Now, first off, let's see a show of hands how many of you are offended by nudity or content of a sexual nature in your art? Something a certain mod pointed out was the reason for this fickleness is because PJ has a 13+ sign up, not 18+. So my crazy idea is: Why not create a sort of 'red light district' on PJ? Have a separate section of the gallery for the 'naughtier' side of the artz. Most importantly have a giant "Yes I agree that I am not offended by such content, and I wish to enter this sub-gallery of naughtiness, etc, etc, etc," validation page every time you want to enter. Hell, you can even put loud and obnoxious siren noises along with many annoying blinking lights on that page just to make sure people don't accidentally stumble in. This way it keeps PJ free of liability, and it gives the rest of us a little bit freedom from the sexually repressed and squeamish masses. I still think that piece (The one for the EGA challenge right? That was pretty awesome) wouldnt be accepted into the challenge, since 13-18 year old members wouldnt be allowed to see it, and couldnt vote, if your subcategory was created.
But I like the idea. Making it like that mature thing on dA and all. We would just need to make sure it wasnt anything offensive. Like artistic nudity instead of pixel porn. |

Ugh, I've seen the very wrong side of pixel porn. Can you believe there's actually a site dedicated to MS Paint porn? >.> I'm fully with the rule and say never allow any porn to posted here. It would just be... ugh... XD ------------- Hello - I'm new here. :) |

I never said it was a big problem, just that I'd like to see some more freedom over the 'kiddy friendly' rules. And I never said I want porn, if I want porn I'm just one google search away, I want art. In porno-esque light. Big difference. XD Like I said last time, I want Luis Royo equivalent in pixel art. I don't think there are many sites where you can submit artistic pornography, but there ought to be at least one out there.  |

I second the idea of using DeviantArt's method. It's one of the very few things that they've done right.
