I'm about 25% done with my FFVI hack and about to release a demo with a playable boss (Proto Babil). I currently have a few portraits, although the sprite style either doesn't look good or doesn't go with all the other portraits styles. I'd like to get fourteen new portraits for the fourteen playable characters. This hack has been going since sometime early in 2008 and won't be finished until around mid 2009/2010. I've hacked FFVI to hell, some of the features I've added are: All new characters, except Terra (Tina) and Setzer. -Equipable bow. -Gloves (for Tifa). -New Menu Backgrounds/Borders. -Changed the font. -Changted the color of the font. -90% New Espers. -New Magic Spells (with new animations). -New Armor/Head Gear (Robes and Cowls).    ----------------------- If you'd like to assist me with making at least one or two portraits, that's be very helpful. 16 colors per palette, 1 of which is transparent. 40x40 pixel resolution. |

Crap, can't help you... I'm already taking on some job. :D But good luck, also try to keep this as low profile as possible, it's not the first time Square-enix throws a bunch of C&D letters to people who hack their roms, or make FF fangames... even if they are done 100% from scratch... that's just the way it is for them... If you manage to release this game before any possible C&D arrives, I would like to play it. ------------- |

| This projects been going on for two years and lucky I haven't got a cease and desist letter. Even if I did get a C&D letter, my works online for anyone to continue working on. I can't release the game until I get custom sprites however. ;) |
